On May 16, 2022, Dr. Mutulu Shakur was denied mandatory parole by the U.S. Parole Commission.
This is the ninth time Dr. Shakur has been denied parole by the USPC, and the second time he has been denied mandatory parole.

TRENTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The New Jersey Supreme Court correctly upheld the law today, granting the release of 85-year-old Sundiata Acoli after serving more than 49 years in prison. The Supreme Court ruled that the parole board unlawfully denied Mr.
